Recipe Story

Chocolate Truffles is the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of wanting to make something romantic. We also see explosion of truffles on the window displays of almost all the patisseries on Valentine's day. This recipe has seen a million variations and it has been around for centuries. And guess what? This can me made and eaten anytime of the year. Why wait until Valentine's Day, eh?

Ingredients

 Semi-sweet chocolate chips - 3 cups
 Sweetened condensed milk1 Can (10oz)
 Vanilla extract1 Tablespoon
 Red colored sprinkles

Directions

MAKING
1. In large saucepan, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk.
2. Take away from heat and mix in vanilla. Transfer the mixture into a medium sized bowl bowl.
3. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or until firm.
4. Using your fingers, gently shape mixture into 1 inch balls.
5. Roll in red sprinkles and decorate them.

SERVING
6. This will come up to 6 dozen truffles. Eat how much ever you want and refrigerate the rest in a tightly covered dish.
