Two Bean Franks Recipe
Two bean franks is a peppy frankfurters recipe. Cooked with garlic and celery for a simple yet appealing flavor combo, the frankfurters are prepared with kidney beans and saucy pork with beans. Filling and savory, this recipe is microwaved to cook and easily fixed.
Ingredients
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cans (16 ounces each)
Pork & Beans in Tomato Sauce
1 can (about 15 ounces) kidney beans, drained
5 frankfurters, sliced
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Directions
In 3-quart microwave-safe casserole, combine onion, celery and garlic.
Cover with lid; microwave on HIGH 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring once during cooking.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover; microwave on HIGH 10 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring twice during cooking.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
