Tutti Frutti Parfait Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Fruit cocktail | 1 16 Ounce | |
| Water | ||
| 1 3-ounce package orange-flavored gelatin | ||
| Vanilla Ice Cream | 1 Pint | |
| 1 baked 8-inch pastry shell | ||
Directions
Drain fruit cocktail, reserving syrup.
Add enough water to syrup to make 1 1/4 cups liquid; heat.
Dissolve gelatin in hot liquid.
Spoon ice cream into gelatin mixture; stir till melted.
Chill mixture till it thickens and mounds when spooned, 40 to 45 minutes.
Set aside 1/2 cup fruit cocktail for garnish.
Fold remainder into gelatin-icecream mixture; turn into pastry shell.
Chill till firm.
Garnish with reserved fruit cocktail.
