Tuscany Sausage And Rice Skillet Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 pound Italian sausage, cut into 1-inch slices, casings removed | ||
| 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 1/2 cups thin red and green bell pepper strips | ||
| Chicken broth | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups Rice In An Instant | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
Cook sausage with onion and garlic in 10-inch skillet until sausage is cooked through.
Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings.
Add pepper strips, broth and salt.
Bring to a boil.
Stir in rice; cover and remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with cheese
