 Black beans675 Gram
 115 g diced coarse ham
 Bacon115 Gram, diced
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), minced
 Onion1 , sliced
 Celery stalks2 , diced
 500 ml peeled, seeded, chopped tomatoes
 Beef broth1 Large
 Worcestershire sauce5 Milliliter
 Tabasco sauce1 Milliliter
 1 ml each of pepper, oregano, thyme, onion powder, basil, cayenne
 5 ml each of paprika, salt
 Chili powder3 Milliliter

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Cover black beans with water and keep aside for 8 hours or a whole night.

MAKING
2) On the following day, drain the beans and keep aside.
3) Take a large kettle and brown ham and bacon in it.
4) Add in garlic, onion, and celery and sauté until soft.
5) Stir in tomatoes, broth, beans, Worcestershire, Tabasco sauce and seasonings.
6) Allow the mixture to come to a boil and then allow simmering for 2 1/2-3 hours after reducing heat.

SERVING
7) Serve hot.
