Turnips With Cheese Recipe
Turnips with cheese is a cooked and baked preparation made with milk and cheese. Seasoned with salt and pepper, these baked turnips are soft, mildly sweet and very nutritious. A perfect and filling side for any meal!
Ingredients

| Fat | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
Directions
Peel the turnips, cut them in slices, and boil them for about fifteen minutes in boiling salted water.
Make a white sauce with the fat, flour, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour this over the turnips and sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake for ten minutes
