Turnips Bourguignon Recipe
Ingredients
| Turnips | 4 Cup (16 tbs), peeled | |
| Dry red wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onions | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup bacon drippings or salt pork meat | ||
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Louisiana hot sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Put all ingredients in a pot and cook over low heat until turnips are tender.
