Ingredients
4 cups cooked mashed turnips
1 cup well drained applesauce
1/2 cup soft butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Mix together, making sure it's really hot - spoon into casserole, cover with topping, place under broiler to brown.
