Turnip Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups cooked and mashed turnips
2 eggs, beaten
3 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
3/4 cup bread crumbs
Crumb Topping:
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Combine turnips, eggs, butter, sugar, salt, pepper and bread crumbs.
Mix well.
Turn into buttered 1 quart casserole.
Sprinkle on the Crumb Topping; bake until the top is browned, approximately 35 minutes
