Turkey With Thyme Recipe
Ingredients
| 15 mL 1 tbsp margarine | ||
| 2 turkey thighs, skinless, about 350 g each | ||
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| 125 mL 1/2 cup dry white wine | ||
| 1 L 4 cups beef broth, skimmed | ||
| 15 mL 1 tbsp tomato paste | ||
| 15 mL 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped | ||
| 25 mL 2 tbsp commercial sauce thickener | ||
Directions
Melt the margarine in a saucepan and braise the turkey, along with the onion, for 3 minutes on each side.
Deglaze with the white wine and add the beef broth.
Stir in the tomato paste and the thyme.
Let simmer for 45 minutes on low heat.
Add the sauce thickener.
Cut the thighs in half when serving.
