Turkey Salad Continental Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups crisp torn lettuce
1 cup diced cooked turkey
1 cup diced red apple
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon fresh lemon or lime juice
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon salt croissants (optional)
Directions
Combine lettuce, turkey, apple, celery, onion and walnuts in large mixing bowl.
In separate bowl combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, sage and salt until smooth.
Add mayonnaise mixture to turkey mixture; toss to coat ingredients.
Serve at once.
Great with croissants.
NOTE: A fine way to use leftover turkey or chicken.
