Turkey And Broccoli Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 packages frozen broccoli, cooked | ||
| Butter | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 cups turkey broth or consomme | ||
| Evaporated milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry white wine | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | ||
| 3 cups coarsely diced cooked turkey or chicken | ||
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Arrange broccoli in greased shallow casserole dish.
Melt butter; stir in flour.
Add broth, milk, and wine.
Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is thickened and smooth.
Cook and stir 2 or 3 minutes.
Season to taste.
Lay turkey over broccoli in baking dish.
Cover with wine-cream sauce.
Sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
Bake at 400 °F about 20 minutes or until bubbly.
