Turkey With Hazelnuts On Toast Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 slices whole-grain bread | ||
| Butter | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Turkey breast slice | 8 , smoked | |
| Carrots | 1/2 Pound | |
| 1-2 oz. Chester cheese | ||
| Hazelnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/8 tsp. freshly ground white pepper | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Blue cheese | 2 Ounce | |
| 1 tbs. fresh parsley or cress | ||
Directions
Toast the bread slices and set aside to cool, then spread with butter and cover each with a slice of turkey breast.
Preheat the oven to 350°.
Wash, peel and grate the carrots.
Dice the cheese and chop the hazelnuts.
Mix the carrots, cheese and hazelnuts together and season them with the pepper.
Mix in the eggs and the lemon juice.
Spread the mixture on the bread and top with a small slice of blue cheese.
Toast the sandwiches in the oven until the carrot mixture has solidified and the top is golden brown.
