Turkey Topped Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ground turkey | 1/2 pound | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Sage | 1/2 Teaspoon, rubbed | |
| Fennel seed | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Garlic powder | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Apple | 1 Medium, chopped | |
| 3/4 cup Vegetable Juice | ||
| Raisins | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 4 hot biscuits, split | ||
Directions
In 10-inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter, cook turkey, Parmesan, sage, fennel, garlic powder, salt and pepper until turkey is browned, stirring to separate turkey.
Add onion and apple; cook until tender, stirring often.
Stir in juice, raisins and cinnamon.
Cook, uncovered, 15 minutes or until slightly thickened.
