Turkey Tetrazzini Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 lb. whole wheat noodles or spaghetti | ||
| Boiling water | 3 Quart | |
| Oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 1/4 Pound, sliced | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Cream | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Cooked turkey | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Cook noodles or spaghetti in 3 quarts boiling water to which 1 tablespoon oil has been added.
Drain and rinse with cold water.
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Saute mushrooms in 1 tablespoon butter for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, to the cooked noodles or spaghetti, add butter, cream and grated cheese (reserving 2 tablespoons of cheese for top of casserole).
Toss gently until thoroughly mixed, then place half the mixture in a buttered casserole.
Place the turkey on this and cover it with the mushrooms and the remaining pasta.
Top with the 2 tablespoons of cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until nicely browned.
