Turkey Sausage And Pasta Toss Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 ounces uncooked penne or gemelli pasta | ||
| Stewed tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), undrained | |
| Turkey kielbasa sausage | 6 Ounce, smoked | |
| Broccoli florets | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons prepared reduced-fat pesto sauce | ||
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
Directions
1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt.
2. Meanwhile, heat tomatoes in medium saucepan. Cut sausage crosswise into 1/4-inch slices; add to tomatoes. Stir in asparagus and pesto; cover and simmer about 6 minutes or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
3. Drain pasta; toss with tomato mixture and sprinkle with cheese.
