Turkey Pimiento Puff Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 ounces ground raw turkey | ||
| Green onions | 2 , sliced | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 2 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Pimiento | 2 Tablespoon, diced | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
Directions
In a large skillet cook turkey and onions until turkey is no longer pink, stirring to break up pieces.
Drain off any fat.
Sprinkle cornstarch, salt, paprika, and pepper over turkey mixture in skillet, then stir into mixture.
Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir for 1 minute more.
Stir in cheese and pimiento.
Separate eggs, reserving the egg whites.
In a medium bowl lightly beat egg yolks.
Gradually add turkey mixture to egg yolks, stirring constantly.
In a large mixing bowl beat egg whites with an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form (tips stand straight).
Gradually fold in turkey mixture.
Gently pour into a 1 1/2-quart souffle dish.
