Turkey Pan Gravy Recipe
Even James Bond was not able to access this highly classified recipe of Turkey Pan Gravy. Now I am outing it for all on the web. Ingredients
Pan drippings from roasted turkey
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
4 cups turkey broth, chicken broth, milk or water
Seasoned Salt
Seasoned Pepper
Directions
Pour drippings from turkey into bowl, leaving browned particles on bottom of roasting pan.
Let fat rise to top of drippings; skim off fat, reserving 6 tablespoons.
Reserve remaining drippings for part of the liquid for gravy, if desired.
Return reserved fat to roasting pan.
Place roasting pan over low heat; blend in flour and cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly.
Add liquid, which should be cool, all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly with wire whisk, until thickened.
Continue cooking over low heat about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Season to taste with Seasoned Salt and Seasoned Pepper.
