Turkey & Mushroom Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Egg white | 1 | |
| Dry white wine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup soft French bread crumbs | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Shallots | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Turkey breast | 1 pound | |
| Mushrooms | 4 Ounce, finely chopped | |
| Olive oil cooking spray | ||
| 6 onion hamburger rolls, split and warmed | ||
| Condiments: Sliced tomatoes, Dijon mustard, rinsed and crisped lettuce leaves, and/or sliced dill pickles | ||
Directions
In a medium-size bowl, beat egg white and wine until blended.
Stir in crumbs, salt, pepper, and shallots; then lightly mix in turkey and mushrooms.
Shape turkey mixture into 6 patties, each about 1/2 inch thick.
Spray a wide nonstick frying pan with cooking spray.
Place over medium-high heat; add turkey pat-ties.
Cook, turning once, until patties are lightly browned on both sides and juices run clear when a knife is inserted in center (8 to 10 minutes).
