Turkey Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/2 cups turkey stock or chicken stock | ||
| Unflavored gelatin package | 1 | |
| 1 1/2 cups minced, cooked turkey | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Small, minced | |
| Stalk celery | 1 , minced | |
| Celery salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Curry powder | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Heavy cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
| Fresh vegetables | ||
Directions
Lightly oil a 1-quart mold.
Place 1/2 cup of the turkey stock in a small heatproof bowl or cup.
Sprinkle gelatin over stock; let soften for about 1 minute.
Set bowl in a pan of simmering water; stir constantly until gelatin dissolves.
Remove from heat.
In a mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except heavy cream and fresh vegetables.
Blend in dissolved gelatin.
Refrigerate until mixture begins to set.
Fold in whipped cream.
Spoon mixture into mold.
Cover lightly; chill overnight.
When ready to serve, unmold and garnish with fresh vegetables.
