Turkey Meat Loaf Recipe

Ingredients
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1 20-ounce can chick-peas, drained and pureed in a blender or food processor
1 pound ground raw turkey meat, thawed if frozen
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried leaf sage
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Heat the oil in a small skillet and saute the onion until tender but not browned.
In a large bowl combine the cooked onion, chick-pea puree, turkey, celery, sage, parsley, eggs, salt, and pepper.
Pack into an oiled 8 1/2- by 4 1/2- by 2 1/2-inch loaf pan and bake in a 350-degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes and unmold onto a serving platter.
