Ingredients
1/2 lb (230 g) breast of turkey
5 tsp (25 ml) vegetable oil, divided
1 tbs (15 ml) lemon juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
3/4 tsp (4 ml) chile pepper
1/2 tsp (3 ml) dried oregano leaves
1/2 large yellow bell pepper,
cut into 1-inch pieces 8 strips green bell pepper
1 medium tomato, cut into
12 wedges
4 Tostada Bowls salsa for topping
Directions
Cut turkey into thin slices and then into strips about 3/4-inch wide.
In medium bowl, combine 3 tsp of the oil, with the lemon juice, garlic, chile pepper and oregano.
Add turkey and stir to coat.
Let stand 1/2 hour.
Heat remaining 2 tsp oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Add yellow and green peppers; stir-fry 2 minutes.
Add turkey strips and stir-fry another 3 minutes.
Stir in tomato; heat 1 minute more.
Preheat tostada bowls for 3-5 minutes in a 350°F (180°C) oven and fill with ingredients.
