Turkey Double Decker Recipe
Ingredients
| Rye bread slice | 18 | |
| Mayonnaise or salad dressing | ||
| 6 slices process Swiss cheese | ||
| Cabbage | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Ham slice | 6 , boiled | |
| Cooked turkey slice | 6 | |
| Butter or margarine, softened | ||
Directions
Spread one side of each slice bread with mayonnaise.
On each of 6 slices bread stack 1 slice cheese, about 2 tablespoons cabbage, and 1 slice ham.
Cover with second slice bread, mayonnaise-side down; spread top side with mayonnaise.
Cover with 1 slice turkey, about 2 tablespoons cabbage, and third slice bread.
Spread top of sandwiches with butter.
Place on medium-hot griddle, buttered side down.
Spread top slices with butter.
Grill till browned, about 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
