Turkey Divan Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 10-ounce package frozen asparagus spears | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sharp cheddar cheese | 1/4 pound, shredded | |
| 4 buttered toast slices | ||
| Cooked | 4 Large | |
| Sliced mushrooms | 1 4 Ounce | |
Directions
Cook asparagus as label directs; drain.
In small saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour, then milk; cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted.
Place toast on cookie sheet.
Top with asparagus spears, then with turkey slices and drained mushrooms.
Spoon on cheese sauce.
Broil 3 to 5 minutes or until golden.
