Turkey Divan Recipe
This turkey divan is a cheesy vegetable poultry recipe. Prepared with cooked turkey pieces, the turkey divan is microwave cooked with mushroom soup and milk. Creamy and cheesy with added cheddar to it, the turkey divan is sherried to taste with a dash of nutmeg. cooked with broccoli, it is filling and healthy as a whole meal.
Ingredients
| Broccoli | 1 pound, frozen | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Condensed cream of mushroom soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon dry sherry Generous dash ground nutmeg | ||
| 2 cups cubed cooked turkey or chicken | ||
| Shredded Cheddar cheese | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In 10- by 6-inch microwave-safe casserole, combine broccoli and water.
Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on HIGH 6 minutes or until broccoli is almost tender, rotating dish once during cooking.
Let stand, covered, 3 minutes.
Drain.
In medium bowl, stir soup until smooth.
Stir in milk, sherry and nutmeg; stir in turkey.
Pour over broccoli.
Sprinkle with cheese.
Cover with waxed paper; microwave on HIGH 6 minutes or until heated through, rotating dish once during cooking.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on HIGH 6 minutes or until broccoli is almost tender, rotating dish once during cooking.
