Turkey Chowder Recipe

This turkey chowder recipe will entice any eater fussy or easy. The turkey chowder is made with poultry which is easily available at any grocery store. It is an effortless appetizer. Believe me, just try this turkey chowder once, you'll love it.

Ingredients

 
2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
 
1 10-ounce package frozen baby lima beans
 
1/2 cup chopped onion
 
1/2 cup sliced celery
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
2 cups water
 
1 10 3/4-ounce can condensed cream of chicken soup
 
1 16-ounce can tomatoes, cut up
 
1 1/2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken
 
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
 
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
 
1/8 teaspoon pepper
 
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (2 ounces)

Directions

In 3-quart saucepan combine potatoes, beans, onion, celery, and salt.
Blend water into canned soup; add to vegetables.
Cook, covered, till vegetables are tender, 35 to 45 minutes.
Add undrained tomatoes, turkey or chicken, poultry seasoning, garlic salt, and pepper.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon cheese over each serving.
