Ingredients
1 1/4 Cups (310 ml) chicken stock
6 tbsp (90 ml) onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 1/4 Cups (310 ml) broccoli flowerets
1/2 Cup (125 ml) 35% cream
3 tbsp (45 ml) butter
1 lb (450 g) turkey breast strips
Salt and pepper
Directions
– In a saucepan, bring chicken stock to a boil, add onion, garlic, broccoli, and cream and let mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
– Pass mixture through a vegetable mill. If necessary, cook a few minutes longer to desired thickness.
– In a skillet, melt butter, saute turkey strips and season with salt and pepper.
– Degrease the skillet then pour broccoli cream over the meat and cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
– Remove from heat, adjust seasoning and serve.
