Turkey Asparagus Melt Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves, crushed
3 sourdough hoagie buns or hoagie buns, split lengthwise
3/4 lb. sliced cooked turkey
1 can Green Giant Extra Long Tender Green Asparagus Spears, drained
1/2 cup red onion rings
6 oz. shredded colby monterey Jack blen cheese or Cheddar cheese
Directions
In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and sage; mix well.
Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons mixture on each bun half.
Top each with one sixth of turkey, asparagus spears, onion rings and cheese.
Place sandwiches on broiler pan.
Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 to 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is bubbly.
