Turkey Apple Toss Recipe
Turkey apple toss is a tossed salad made with fruits and celery. Prepared with added eggs and herbed with basil for a fresh flavor, the turkey apple toss is a cold salad and has also has almonds in it for a twist in taste!
Ingredients
| Cooked turkey | 2 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Apple | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Celery | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
| Mayonnaise | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Dried basil leaves | 1/4 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Pepper | 1 Dash | |
| Toasted slivered almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Toss turkey and apple with lemon juice.
Add celery and eggs.
Blend together next 4 ingredients; toss lightly with turkey mixture.
Chill.
Before serving, fold in nuts.
