Tuna Tacos Recipe

Ingredients
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Dash hot sauce
8 ounces drained canned tuna, flaked
1 cup sliced onions
4 taco shells
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 ounces Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup each chopped tomatoes and tomato sauce
1 cup shredded lettuce
1/8 teaspoon each oregano leaves, salt, and pepper
Directions
In 10-inch skillet heat oil; add onions and garlic and saute until onions are translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and seasonings; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Stir in tuna and cook until heated through.
Fill each taco shell with 1/4 of tuna mixture and top each portion with 1 ounce cheese and 1/4 cup lettuce.
