Tuna Rice Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Long grain rice | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked | |
| Frozen green peas package | 1 | |
| Tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Pineapple tidbits | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| 1/2 cup Thousand Island salad dressing | ||
| Sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 tablespoons finely chopped green onions | ||
Directions
Cook the rice using the package directions.
Cook the peas using the package directions; drain.
Combine the rice, peas, tuna, pineapple and celery in a large bowl and mix well.
Combine the salad dressing, sour cream and green onions in a small bowl and whisk well.
Add the salad dressing mixture to the rice mixture and toss gently.
Chill, covered, for 2 to 10 hours.
Serve in lettuce cups.
