Tuna Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
1 3-ounce can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 tablespoons finely chopped green pepper
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 cups cooked rice
1 6 1/2- or 7-ounce can tuna, drained
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
Dash pepper
Directions
In skillet cook mushrooms, onion, celery, and green pepper in butter till tender.
Add rice, tuna, Worcestershire sauce, salt, thyme, and pepper; toss to mix.
Reduce heat; cook and stir till heated through.
