Tuna Mushroom Strata Recipe
This very Tuna-Mushroon Starta is my all-time family favorite, enjoyed by kids and adults alike. Here's is a simple recipe for you enjoy this wonderful Tuna-Mushroom Starta and believe me it is unbelievably easy to prepare.
Ingredients
| Mushrooms – 1 cup, sliced | ||
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Day Old Bread Buttered Cubes – 3 cups | ||
| Canned Tuna – 7 ounce, drained | ||
| Milk – 2 ½ cups, slightly beaten | ||
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat the oven to 325F
MAKING
2) In a frying pan, sauté the mushrooms till tender and browned
3) In a greased 2 quart casserole, place the bread cubes and then layer in the tuna and the mushrooms
4) Repeat the layers with the top layer ending with the mushrooms
5) In a small bowl, mix in the eggs, milk and the seasonings and pour on top of the casserole
6) Place the dish in hot water and bake at 325F for 60 minutes till set

7) Serve warm
