Tuna In Tomato Wine Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), minced | |
| Green pepper | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Tomatoes | 1 Can (10oz), chopped | |
| Dry white wine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Tomato Paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled | ||
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cans tuna in vegetable oil, drained and flaked | ||
| 4 ounces feta cheese, coarsely crumbled | ||
| Hot cooked rice | ||
Directions
Heat oil in a medium size skillet; saute onion and green pepper until tender, about 5 minutes.
Stir in chopped tomatoes, wine, parsley, tomato paste, oregano and pepper; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, or until mixture thickens slightly.
Stir in tuna and cheese; heat through.
Serve with hot cooked rice.
