2 tablespoons vegetable oil
 
1 small onion, chopped
 
4-1/2 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
 
14 oz. can peas & carrots, drained
 
10 oz. can cream soup (mushroom or chicken)
 
1 pimien to cut in slivers (about 1/4 cup)
 
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
 
1/2 cup water (use liquid from vegetables)
 
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
 
1/2 to 1 teaspoon paprika
 
2 cans (6-1/2 oz. size) bye the sea chunk light tuna
 
1/2 cup canned chow mein noodles or potato chips

Directions

Cook in large saucepan or 1-1/2 quart top of the stove casserole, the oil, onion and mushrooms until onion is tender about 3 minutes.
Stir next 7 ingredients into mixture.
Add tuna with its broth and stir gently with a fork.
Transfer to large casserole.
Top with canned noodles or potato chips.
Bake in a slow oven of 325 degrees until bubbling hot about 40 minutes.
