Tuna Pasta Casserole Recipe
Tuna pasta casserole is a cheesy pasta casserole. A microwaved fish pasta, this casserole is made with cream of celery soup and swiss cheese for flavor and moistened with added milk. The tuna combined with pasta, eggs and peas is cooked to perfection and topped with crunchy potato chips for a crispy top.
Ingredients
1 cup frozen peas
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Condensed Cream of Celery Soup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese (2 ounces)
1 can (6 1/2 ounces) tuna, drained and flaked
2 cups cooked corkscrew or other macaroni
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/2 cup crushed potato chips
Directions
Place peas in 1 1/2-quart microwave-safe casserole.
Cover with lid; micro wave on HIGH 4 minutes or until tender.
Drain; set aside.
In same casserole, stir soup until smooth; stir in milk and cheese.
Fold tuna, macaroni, eggs and peas into soup mixture.
Cover; microwave on HIGH 7 minutes or until hot and bubbling, stirring once during cooking.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Sprinkle potato chips over casserole.
Cover with lid; micro wave on HIGH 4 minutes or until tender.
Drain; set aside.
