Tuna Melt Recipe
Ingredients
| Green onions | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), divided | |
| 1/2 cup drained canned artichoke hearts, chopped | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Olive oil | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground red pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Albacore tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained, flaked | |
| 2 (2-ounce) English muffins, split and toasted | ||
| Provolone cheese | 6 Tablespoon, shredded | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In a bowl, combine a quarter cup of green onions, artichoke hearts, lemon juice, albacore tuna, oregano, pepper, olive oil and red pepper; stir them all well to blend
2. Divide this mixture between muffin halves and sprinkle cheese evenly
3. Place them all on baking sheets and broil for five minyutes or less, till golden
SERVING
4. Sprinkle the remaining green onions on top and serve
