Tuna Loaf Recipe
Tuna loaf is a light and easy lunch or dinner loaf that is easily prepared in a little over half hour. Made with white canned tuna combined with eggs and breadcrumbs, the tuna loaf is flavored with a dash of lemon juice, bell peppers, onions and a dash of worcestershire sauce. baked till done, it can be served with a peppy sauce.
Ingredients
| White tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 2 eggs, lightly beaten | ||
| 1 cup Evaporated or Light Evaporated Skimmed Milk | ||
| Whole wheat bread crumbs | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Green bell pepper | 2 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine all ingredients in medium bowl.
Transfer to 8 1/2 X4 1/2 inch glass loaf pan.
Bake at 350 °F 30 to 40 minutes or until firm.
May be served hot or cold or used as spread for sandwiches or crackers.
Garnish as desired.
