Tuna Green Bean Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/4 cup chicken bouillon | ||
| 1 tablespoon or more prepared mustard | ||
| Green beans | 1/2 pound, cooked | |
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
| Tuna | 1 Can (10oz), flaked | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Dried tarragon | 1/2 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon, melted | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cook onion in butter until wilted.
Add flour, milk, and bouillon, and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Add mustard, beans, eggs, tuna, parsley, and tarragon.
Taste, and add salt and pepper if necessary.
Put in a 1-quart casserole and sprinkle with crumbs and melted butter, mixed.
Bake in preheated hot oven (400° F.) for about 20 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
