Tuna Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/4 cup diced salt pork or bacon | ||
| Onion | 1 , chopped | |
| Tuna in oil | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Hot water | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Potatoes | 1 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cook salt pork until crisp.
Remove and reserve.
To fat in pan add onion and oil drained from tuna.
Cook until onion is wilted; then add the water and potatoes.
When potatoes are almost tender, add tuna, milk, and salt and pepper to taste.
Simmer until potatoes are done.
Add salt pork.
Top with parsley.
Makes 4 servings.
