Tuna Cheese Open Face Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
| Tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 2 hard cooked eggs, peeled and chopped | ||
| 1/4 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise | ||
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Sweet relish | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons chopped stuffed olives or celery | ||
| Prepared mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 4 English muffins or hamburger buns, split and toasted | ||
| Tomato Slices | 8 | |
| 1/2 cup shredded American or Cheddar cheese | ||
Directions
In medium bowl combine tuna, eggs, salad dressing, onion, relish, olives, mustard, salt and pepper.
Spoon about 1/4 cup mixture onto each muffin half.
Top with 1 slice tomato and 1 tablespoon cheese.
Place 4 open-face sandwiches on plate lined with two layers of paper towels.
Microwave at High 2 to 3 minutes, or until cheese melts, rotating dish once or twice during cooking.
Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
