Tuna Burgers Recipe
Ingredients
| Albacore tuna | 1 Can (10oz), drained, flaked | |
| Wheat germ | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Scallions | 2 , minced | |
| Minced parsley | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup nonfat mayonnaise | ||
| 1/4 cup fat-free egg substitute | ||
| Ketchup | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 Kaiser or crusty hamburger rolls | ||
Directions
In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, wheat germ, scallions, parsley and oregano.
In a cup, combine the mayonnaise, egg and ketchup.
Pour over the tuna and mix well.
Form into 4 patties.
In a large no-stick frying pan over medium heat, saute the patties in the oil until browned and heated through, about 3 minutes per side.
Serve on the rolls.
