Trout With Macadamia Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Trout | 4 1 Pound | |
| Olive oil | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| MACADAMIA BUTTER | ||
| 1/8 lb. unsalted macadamia nuts, toasted | ||
| A few drops cold water | ||
| Unsalted butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
To prepare butter, pound the toasted macadamia nuts to a paste with the water.
Add butter.
Place on a sheet of waxed paper and shape into a roll.
Chill for 2 to 3 hours in refrigerator.
Clean and wash trout thoroughly, leaving heads intact.
Pat dry with paper towels.
Brush trout with olive oil and season to taste.
Place on preheated, oiled barbecue grill over hot coals and cook for about 6 minutes on each side.
Add butter.
