Trout Normand Cocktail Recipe
Trou Normand has a nice taste. Trou Normand is a must try for apple lovers. The Oz liqueur adds a nice taste to Trou Normand.
Ingredients
4 apples
4 cups ice cold water
1 tsp sea salt
4 fresh mint leaves
4 oz liqueur, of your choice
Directions
Cut a fine slice off bottom of each apple to prevent rolling.
Slice tops off apples, taking care not to damage caps.
With a melon bailer, remove apple core and pips without breaking skin.
Immerse apple shells and caps in ice cold water mixed with sea salt.
Soak 1 minute.
Remove apples.
Shake off any excess water.
Freeze apples and mint leaves 24 hours.
Midway through meal, remove apples from freezer.
Pour 1 oz (30 mL) liqueur into the center of each apple.
Crown with a mint leaf.
Cover with cap.
Slice tops off apples, taking care not to damage caps.
