Triple Chocolate Fudge Bars Recipe

1 (2 layer) package chocolate cake mix
 
1/4 cup vegetable oil
 
1 egg
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
1 cup chopped peanuts, walnuts or pecans
 
1 cup chocolate chips
 
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Directions

Combine the dry cake mix, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla in a mixing bowl.
Beat until crumbly.
Stir in the chopped nuts.
Press all except 1 1/2 cups of the cake mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish that has been lightly sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
Melt the chocolate chips in the condensed milk in a saucepan over low heat or in the microwave; stir until smooth.
Pour evenly over the top of the crust.
Sprinkle with the reserved cake mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool completely in the pan.
Cut into bars.
