Triple O Salad (Orange, Onion and Olive) Recipe
Ingredients
| Large Bermuda onion - 1 , cut into 8 thin slices | ||
| Large oranges - 2, peeled and cut into 6 slices each | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Oregano | 1/8 Teaspoon, crushed | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Orange juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ripe olives | 2 Tablespoon, sliced | |
| black pepper | 1 | |
Directions
MAKING
1 In a glassdish, place onion and oranges.
2 In a bowl, combine salt, oregano, oil, orange, and lemon juice.
3 Pour over the onion and oranges.
4 Marinate for about 15 minutes.
SERVING
5 On the beds of crisp lettuce, arrange oranges and onion alternating 3 orange slices and 2 onion slices per serving.
6 Top with olives.
7 Spoon on the marinade.
8 Generously sprinkle with pepper.
