Triple Delicious Strawberry Pie Recipe
|Baked 9 inch pastry shell||1 , cooled|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||8 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Whipped topping||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Prepared)|
|Powdered sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Strawberry flavored gelatin||2 Tablespoon (Dry)|
|Red food coloring||2 Drop|
|Strawberries||1 Pint, hulled and sliced|

Sprinkle pecans over bottom of cooled pastry shell.
Place cream cheese in small mixing bowl.
Microwave at 50% (Medium) for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes, or until softened.
Blend in whipped topping and powdered sugar.
Spread over pecans in pastry shell.
Chill for 1 hour.
In 4-cup measure, combine granulated sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Blend in water.
Microwave at High for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes, or until mixture is thickened and translucent, stirring after every minute.
Stir in gelatin, vanilla and food coloring.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Chill for 2 hours.
Stir in sliced strawberries.
Spread over cream cheese mixture.
Chill for 2 hours, or until set.
Garnish with whole strawberries and whipped topping.
