Tripe and Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| Tripe | 2 1/2 Pound | |
| Milk | 1/2 Pint | |
| Water | 1/2 Pint | |
| 4 large onions, peeled and thickly sliced | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Cornflour | 1 Ounce | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Cut tripe into strips.
Bring milk and water to the boil in a casserole.
Add the tripe and onions.
Season, cover and simmer gently for 2 1/2 hours or cook in the oven for 3 1/2 hours.
Remove.
Thicken the sauce with cornflour and simmer for a few minutes.
