Treacle Nut Biscuits Recipe

Gradually beat in the treacle and egg which has been previously whisked together with an electric beater.
Sift in the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt.
Mix well together.
Fold in the hazelnuts and form into a dough.
Wrap in cling film and chill in a refrigerator for a few hours.
Lightly grease two baking sheets with vegetable oil.
Taking a teaspoon of the dough, form into a round ball then flatten slightly.
Fill the baking sheet up with these circles and bake in a pre heated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven then cool for a few minutes before transferring onto a cooling rack.
