Traditional Hot Cocoa Recipe

Directions
1 In a deep 1-1/2-quart casserole with lid, thoroughly blend cocoa powder and sugar.
2 Whisk in hot water until blended.
3 Cover and microwave at 100% (HIGH) for 2 minutes.
4 Gradually whisk in milk. Cover.
5 Microwave at 100% (HIGH) 7-1/2 to 8-1/2 minutes or until heated through.
6 Whisk every 2 minutes.
7 Whisk in vanilla.
8 Ladle cocoa into 3 or 4 mugs.
9 Top each serving with a marshmallow.
10 Arrange mugs in a circle in the microwave oven.
11 Microwave at 100% (HIGH) for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows are puffed.
SERVING
12 Serve hot.
